TRAINING OF VOLUNTEERS

On Thessaly Heritage Railway, wide-ranging works are continuously carried out that contribute to the smooth operation of the network and the beautification of the railway stations, thus contributing to the preservation of a functional monument of industrial heritage.

Workgroups work throughout the year on pre-determined dates, always with a good mood in mind, and the achievement of social relations through a common occupation.

It is all about friendship and companionship, here in Thessaly Heritage Railway. While we do perform meaningful work, we also care about having fun and maintaining a sense of cheerfulness and respect to each other.

However, the nature of our work requires extra care and attention regarding safety and health hazards for every volunteer.

This is why safety protocols are in place and training is provided continuously. Training is either provided by committees of associates or expert volunteers or by third party companies with relative expertise.
